BPST 2018.11.13 – “No One Ever wants to be known as ‘Jello Balls'”

We begin the show on a sad note, talking about the death of Stan Lee, and his impact on comics, films, etc. We take a complete 180 (16:30) and talk about things that you were into when younger that you are no longer into…which bleeds into a conversation about the Billboard top200 (44:00) and popular music. Another classic segment of Sibbling Dribblings (54:30) with new opening/intro!

BPST 2018.11.07 – “Apparently Kim Kardashian tastes like chocolate”

We kick off the show with a trick-or-treating/candy recap. After talking that topic to death, I give a recap (27:40) of my Scranton/NYC trip. We jump into a Name Your Price (39:30) segment, everybody’s fave! We move to Sibling Dribblings (46:00) and start with college ball and then launch head-first into NBA chat.

BPST Archives 2017.10.01 – “Pilot”

This was the original show, back before Todd invited himself to be co-host…I was originally just planning on doing it all by myself. Still debating that decision. So I talk about my plans for the pod and a few quick topics (Mac n’ Cheetos, Micheal Phelps, etc) at the outset. Then I go to the phone where Todd calls in (18:00) and we talk about the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” season opener, and of course (46:20) we talk basketball.

BPST 2018.10.18 – “Sautee some aromatics…”

We re-visit Todd’s statement that soup is his favorite food to start off the pod, it gets a little out of hand. After an embarrassingly long soup discussion (22:45) we talk about the bankruptcy of Sears, which devolved into Todd admitting he loved “Enemy of the State”. We then wrap up the last 40% of the show with NBA chat (41:20) starting with a brief talk about the legacy of Paul Allen. (And we actually end with a brief pub spot for our “1st Annual Halloween Show,” coming VERY soon!!)

BPST 2018.10.09 – “Sibling Dribblings”

Show starts with a recap of my trip to Nashville (spoiler alert: not much of interest). I then give everybody (19:00) more Cosby impressions!…and the world rejoiced. At (29:30) we have the origination of “Sibling Dribblings”…and laughter ensues. NBA talk starts (33:25) and as I predicted, we go on for 18 minutes+. Show ends with everyone’s fave (52:00) “Name Your Price.”

BPST 2018.10.02 – “Todd Loves One Direction”

Tonight’s show kicks off as you would expect, with a 23 minute conversation about ‘what defines a boy band?’ We then get a recap (25:00) of Todd’s triumphant return to cheering on the Citadel Bulldogs. We then talk about “fall traditions” (38:30) like jumping into leaf piles! And we then finish out the program (44:30) with everyone’s fave: NBA Chat.

BPST 2018.09.26 – “Is the term ‘bachelor trip’ a thing?”

We talk weather right off the top (as we do) before getting balls deep into the Vegas recap. We move to NBA chat (23:30) to discuss the Jimmy Butler situation. Bill Cosby sentencing is our next discussion (40:20) complete with the best Cosby impression you’ll ever hear; followed by us re-hasing our top 90s sitcom discussion. A discussion around Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja breaks out (58:00)…just listen. We close out the proceedings with a celebration of Will Smith (65:00) turning 50…in style. (Ignore Todd’s horrible audio for the last 5 minutes)

BPST 2018.09.18 – “Todd doesn’t know how to gamble”

Show opens with me talking about my upcoming trip to the Mecca (Vegas), and Todd asks a bunch of dumb gambling questions. We eventually stop (26:10) and give Barry some love, followed by the introduction of a new segment (34:00)! We then hit our main topic of the night (38:15) where we talk about the greatness that is: AssFactor4. Next up (57:35), Name Your Price…which, of course, devolves into NBA talk. A final note, a man ran a world record in the marathon…should have been the lead topic! (72:45)

BPST 2018.09.11 – “Snack foods=yummy, ultramarathons=hard”

Like the two old men that we are, we kick off the show bickering about weather, weather forecasts, and other shit. We then get a bit more detailed and rap about Hurricane Florence (5:30), Hugo, and related destruction. Par for the course, (15:30) we enter a 23 minute discussion of snacks and snack foods. A long recap of my ultramarathon ensues (38:30), with far more detail than you’d ever want. We close with a brief keto update (64:15).
