Bro Pod w/ Scott and Todd

Illness has infiltrated the Bro Pod!!…but we’re back, and we talk about it…of course. Todd jumps into his rant about drinking water (11:00), and we also discuss the “Gallon Milk Challenge” it’s a classic. Todd poses the question (21:45) of ‘Do You Eat Chocolate Chips out of the bag?”, which turns into 20 minutes of food chat. Then we hit All-Star game wrap-up (40:00) for the rest of the show.

In the second show EVER recorded by the bros, it starts with no intro of any kind, and hops right into talk about soda…so, some things never change! We then move from liquids to solids (11:00) with a convo about fruit snacks and real fruit. An early version of “Sibling Dribblings” starts (23:25) with ‘crazy contract chatter’ and continues into talks of WNBA, season tickets, and other crap. We close out with some HBO talk (54:30) about “Curb” and “Vice Principals.”

Show starts with some administrative stuff that is discussed live on the air, cause…why not? I think jump into my update from Vegas (8:00). We then do our recap of the Super Bowl (14:30), both the game and the commercials. Sibling Dribblings starts accidentally (34:45) with the AD trade talk and the like. We then chat breifly about dog agility contests (67:00) as we all should.

Todd goes on and on about the game, and that’s basically the gist of it. We talk about other stuff too, but…Eagles!!

We kick the show off reminiscing about old shows that we’ve done. Like two old men (8:30) we then discuss the weather and public transportation for a bit. Vegas chat commences for a bit (19:45) in advance of my work trip there. We talk about kids and phones (26:00), spaces after sentences (27:45), pop sockets (44:00), and then Sibling Dribblings (50:15). Then a fitness update (76:00)!, and some other crap before we close out the show.

The show opens with “poop talk”, which is quite riveting…which parlays into an open conversation about how we can expand our audience. We eventually (20:00) start talking about the 10-year FB challenge…eventually. Todd then pulls us into a “Best Rapper Vocabulary” (https://pudding.cool/projects/vocabulary/?fbclid=IwAR3JfPU3kEgLNDFg0lhtqcJD8ZbnMNfgJziWmbs6AAXu7RWv5py0Z50G-BY) chart (34:30) that shows how ADD we get during the show. We give Subway some love (48:45) and discuss how my life might change thanks to a Subway personnel change. And, of course, the final 15 minutes of the show are spent talking about Todd and his eating habits…what else is new?

The first ever “Todd show” kicks off with a chat about snow days, then parlaying into a post-punk conversation (12:45) re: the Jawbox reunion tour, and other punk shows from years’ past. Todd has his best transition ever (34:00) and starts talking about “Tidying Up” on Netflix. We then offer our thoughts (51:15) on the Instagram Egg, quickly moving into a fitness update (55:50). I regale the pod listeners (65:00) with a ‘flossin’ update, and we close with some NBA chat.

We kick off the festivities talking about sugary foods (shocking), and quickly (4:30) get into discussion of Clemson’s win at the “Natty.” Quick fireplace update (37:00), followed by a short dental update (43:05). Todd regales us with a pointless fitness update (57:00), and then we conclude with everybody’s fave “Name Your Price” (67:00).

Show starts with some b-ball chat, a review of last weeks’ Yukon Cornelius single dropping, and a discussion of how Todd is (yet again) trying to start exercising and dieting in the New Year. We finally hit the topic list (23:30) and do a Christmas vacay recap, including 15 minutes of “chimney chat.” We introduce a new segment (53:00) called “Take it, or Leave it.” After 15 minutes of “donut talk” we do a quick mention of an anorexic dancer’s diet (62:45), and then close out the show with a memorial (71:40) to Bob Einstein (Funkhouser).

In honor of ringing in 2019, we take you back to the end of the year ’17. This episode starts with pointless weather banter and the like, but also includes Todd leaving to tend to his daughters, at which point I freestyle rap for no reason. It’s worth a listen. I then go into a conversation about my company Christmas party (8:00) and the injuries that resulted. We switch (22:45) to a conversation about a freestyle rap by Black Thought (of the Roots). We do a brief (and depressing) crypto (34:40) update…I don’t wanna talk about it. A chat about pee positions (41:00) breaks out??? We finish with a run update (46:00).
